Another important ongoing project in which SEHO supports is Bardera Water and Sanitation Authority's citywide cleaning efforts. SEHO pays all the expenses related to the cleaning activities as well as  hauling out the rubish and then burning it on digs outside of town.

When there is cleaning campaign in the city, there are half dozen groups of 4 people or more who are asigned to clean certain areas of town such places like schools, streets, heavily used public places including markets and worship places.

Bardera Water and Sanitation Authority recieves cash funds from SEHO and BWSA then purchases all of the equipment used to clean and carry out the rubish. The money is also used to pay the workers for daily wages. The campaign rents out number of carts on donkeys to take the rubish outside of town.

The cleaning efforts in Bardera was started back in 2007 and the campaign is conducted whenever help cries come to SEHO. BWSA plans to implement clean tap water system in the city of Bardera.
